Beach Time With Uncle Ky

My brother Ky came to visit us over his sring break. I was really worried that we weren't going to be able to find much to do and he would be bored out of his mind. We ended up doing quite a bit and having a blast! The great thing about people coming to visit is we get to do fun things too! So we save all of our activity ideas for these very few occasions, of when we have visitors. Sands Beach seems to be what we do most, and that is the first place we took Uncle Ky; to hunt for shark teeth.

We also went to Hunting Island. It is so gorgeous there! The beach is one of the prettiest I've seen, surrounded by a forrest of palmetto trees.

Nate and Jace are running down the dock towards the beach.

Over time, the beach has eroded. There are huge walls being built along the coast to prevent it from happening even more.

We came home with a huge bucket of beautiful shells, and some nice soft beach sand to put in our sand box.
After gathering shells, eating loads of sand, and splashing around, it was easy to go home and relax after a nice long bath. We were wiping sand out of our ears for days afterwards!
