Hunting for Shark Teeth

We had a playgroup at Sands Beach in Port Royal. It is a hot spot for shark teeth and other cool discoveries. Our friends showed us how to search for and spot the shark teeth, which are a little difficult to find. But once you find one, you know what to look for. The kids got so excited when we would find something worth holding on to.

Sara got very impatient with being stuck in the stroller so I had to take her out. She loved seeing, touching, and tasting the sand! She was so excited to try and walk in it. She loves the outdoors, this is one girl that is not afraid of getting dirty!

As Drew and Jace fed the birds, Sam tried to catch them. They got so close to us and they were everywhere!

Lost Tooth

Nate lost a front tooth. It just looks like there is a large gap between his front two teeth, but really he had an extra one, or in "dental speak", he had a messiadont (middle tooth). Ya its a little weird, but it must be a genetic trait since my little sister had the exact same thing when she was young. Nate is learning how to whistle, and the front gap is helping that along. Pretty soon he will lose all of his front teeth...and THAT will be hilarious!

Rock Wall

Andy couldn't resist buying me a ticket to climb the rock wall at the Christmas Park. I have done it couple of times before, and I always have so much fun doing it! Andy had other things in mind...he just wanted to watch my behind all the way up. I will spare you all of the close ups!

New Year's Celebration

Just before New year's we went to Charleston to see the Christmas lights with our neighbors, the Ready's. There was a park full of lights that you could drive around in your car and look at. They had some fun things to do as well. We had a snack attack--what is Christmas without a few sweets?--so we stopped by a concessions stand and had some s'mores. There was a huge firepit that we could roast our marshmellows on. The boys had so much fun catching theirs on fire!

Sara's First Steps

her own, step 1, step 2, and....plop! Flat on
her tummy!

Morning of Christmas

The boys were very excited to get a baketball hoop for Christmas. They can't wait to start basketball season! The kids played with all of their santa gifts before we opened presents from under the tree. Sara was otherwise occupied with the stocking candy! Nate made a present for his brothers...a race car out of a box that was just laying around the house. Drew was trying to push Jace around in it. Sara Katy was so excited to open her first present! She didn't get a whole lot, but she loved every moment of Christmas morning. My job was to hand out the presents while Andy got all of the fun and happiness on film.
